Cox, Edward King, 1829-1883
Variant namesEdward King Cox was a grandson of Captain William Cox, who in 1810 bought the first merino stud to come to Australia from Captain Waterhouse. Waterhouse had bought the stud from South Africa. Edward King Cox inherited a merino stud and property at Rylstone called "Rawden."
