Satre, Marian Carter, 1933-
Dr. Marian Satre was hired to do oral history interviews as part of a proposed history of the Clemson University School of Textiles and the United States textile industry with particular emphasis upon the interaction between the Clemson University School of Textiles and the textile industry. The Clemson School of Textiles was formed at Clemson Agricultural College in 1898. Since its beginning the school has educated many of leaders of the textile industry in South Carolina.
