Founded in 1938, the Indianapolis Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women is affiliated with the National Council of Catholic Women. Its purpose is to unite Catholic women in addressing religious, educational, social, and economic concerns at local, state, national, and international levels. The I.A.C.C.W. is divided into local deaneries throughout the state, and it also maintains commissions to serve specific needs, such as family, church, and international affairs.
