Abdoo, Jayma A., 1951-2006
Jayma Abdoo, 1951-2006, b. Philadelphia, PA; Jayma Abdoo was Assistant Dean at Barnard College, where she served as an advisor to pre-med, pre-law, and international students. She had graduated with honors from Columbia University in 1988 and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received a master's degree from the College of William and Mary. She died of cancer at the age of 55 in August 2006. She was actively involved with the Vietnam War draft resistance group, the Camden 28.
