The Atlanta Women's Network was founded in 1979 as an outgrowth of the Feminist Action Alliance.

The network brings successful professional women together for the mutual enhancement of their professional goals. Members meet once a month in a luncheon format with a guest speaker present. Other formal and informal meetings and gatherings give members a chance to develop valuable resources through networking. The Atlanta Women's Network is a member network of the International Alliance.
