Dodge, Beverly, 1928-2001.
Beverly Joan Dodge was born in New Milford, Pennsylvania, on January 8, 1928. Miss Dodge graduated from West Chester State College in Pennsylvania and went on to receive a master's degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, before coming to Alaska in 1962. She taught history and social studies first at Orah Dee Clark Junior High School and then Romig Junior High School, retiring in 1980 from the Anchorage School District. Miss Dodge died in Anchorage on July 26, 2001. (From: Anchorage Daily News, August 11, 2001, p. B-9).
