Fair Lawn Committee for Peace in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia
Founded in 1967 in Fair Lawn, New Jersey; Fair Lawn Committee for Peace in Vietnam, organized to participate in a major anti-war protest in New York in April 1967; grew into a larger mission to build local support for alternative solutions to the Vietnam War; Evelyn Hochman, founder and executive officer; in 1970, adopted name of Fair Lawn Committee for Peace in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia; disbanded in 1973.
