Sturgis, Lucy S. P.
Lucy S. P. Sturgis was a member of a class of young women who were taught by Louis Agassiz, naturalist and professor of zoology and geology at Harvard University. For several years he and his wife Elizabeth ran a school for young women in Cambridge, Mass.
