Rutledge, Henry M. (Henry Middleton), 1775-1844
Variant namesU.S. Army officer. Born in Charleston, S.C., he was the son of Edward Rutledge (1749-1800), a signer of the Declaration of Independence. In 1799 Henry Middleton Rutledge married Septima Sexta Middleton (1783-1865). He died in Nashville, Tennessee.
