Claudia Hill was born in New Haven, Conn., on December 6, 1960. She received a B.A. from Colgate University (1982), an M.A. in Art History from the University of Chicago (1990), and an M.L.S. from SUNY Albany (1996). She worked at the Fogg Museum, Harvard University in 1985, held a National Endowment for the Arts Curatorial Internship at the Williams College Museum of Art from 1992 to 1993, and served as an Editor for the J. Paul Getty Trust's Art and Architecture Thesaurus from 1993 to 1996.
