Edward Dickinson Baker (1811-1861) was a Senator from Oregon, 1860-1861, and friend of Abraham Lincoln.

The town of Baker, Oregon, is named for him. He was killed in the Civil War at the Battle of Ball's Bluff in 1861, becoming the only sitting senator to be killed in the war.
