The Plans and Projects Committee was a committee of the faculty created in 1951 in conjunction with the establishment of the university's Development Program. Appointed by the chancellor, the committee was charged with soliciting proposals from within the university for strengthening campus facilities, services, and faculty. The committee recommended to the chancellor's Development Council the proposals it considered worthy of funding.
