The Peace Association of Christian Scientists superseded an earlier group called the Pacifist Principle Fellowship. The Peace Association described itself as "an international association for the promotion of a Christianly Scientific peace," the members of which refrained from participation in war. It functioned as a private enterprise, not as an agency of the Christian Science Church. The Association's office was in Owings Mills, Maryland.
