Bovee, Marvin H. (Marvin Henry), 1827-1888
Variant namesMarvin H. Bovee: Wisconsin Democratic politician and social reformer. As a state senator, he led a successful campaign to abolish the death penalty in 1851-1853, and went on to become a national expert in death penalty and prison reform.
