Bartles, Charles, 1801-1883
Variant namesCharles Bartles: Lawyer, of Flemington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; was graduated from Union College in 1821; engaged in real estate dealings in partnership with Aaron Van Syckel for many years; served as president of the Flemington Railroad and as a director of the Belvidere Delaware Railroad.
Andrew Bartles: Hatter, and later farmer, of New Germantown (now Oldwick), Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
