The Will Rogers Research Project was a contractual agreement between Oklahoma State University and the Will Rogers Memorial Commission of the State of Oklahoma to edit and publish all known writings and radio broadcasts of cowboy humorist Will Rogers. Project staff performed textual editing and provided chapter endnotes on events, people and places referred to by the author. The project took 16 years to complete and was funded by yearly appropriations from the Oklahoma Legislature through the Oklahoma Historical Society. A total of 21 volumes and a cumulative index were published by the Oklahoma State University Press.
