University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Faculty Council. Advisory Committee.
The Advisory Committee was created in 1914 and continues as an elective standing committee of the faculty. Its function is to advise the Chancellor in all matters deemed important by the Chancellor or the Committee. The Chancellor presides over its meetings.
