The Sesquicentennial Committee was a special committee of the faculty appointed in 1937 to plan and arrange the celebration of the university's 1945 sesquicentennial. The celebration lasted 15 months, from a special session of the General Assembly on 15 January 1945 to a campus convocation on 12-13 April 1946.
