Maden, Kathleen Duryea
Antonio C. Maden ("Tony") was born in Cárdenas, Cuba, on February 2, 1861, and moved to the United States in 1864. His siblings included William and Rose (d. 1924). Maden lived in Saratoga Springs, New York, and became a United States citizen in September 1882. In 1895, he returned to Cárdenas, where he owned a hemp plantation. Maden married Kathleen Duryea of Bensonhurst, New York (later part of Brooklyn) around 1900.
