Nevill Barbour (1895-1974)

Nevill Barbour was an Arab specialist who served in the Middle East during World War II. After leaving Palestine, Nevill Barbour became head of the Arabic Section at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in London. Nevill Barbour served on the Council of the Royal Central Asian Society and was awarded its Lawrence Medal in 1964 for his work as an interpreter of Arab affairs. Further details unknown.
