Starks, Deborah Godwin, 1950-

Starks was born in Birmingham, Alabama. She moved to Fort Wayne, Ind. in 1972 and married John Wesley Starks that same year. Starks attended Ball State University and Indiana University--Purdue University at Fort Wayne. Her community activities include Gamma Phi Delta sorority and the Fort Wayne Women's Bureau. She has been a staff writer for the I.U.--P.U. at Fort Wayne campus newspaper, and is a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
