Rubins, Edward J.
Edward J. Rubins was born 7 February 1915 in Tenafly, New Jersey . He received a B.S. and M.S. degrees in Agriculture from Rutgers University (1940, 1942) and his Ph.D. in 1948 from the University of Maryland . He was hired by the University of Connecticut in 1948 as an Assistant Professor of Agronomy and promoted to Associate Professor in 1953.
