Hilton as pastor, and the first church building was completed in December, 1870. The church moved to a new building in 1905 and again in 1968. Its distinctive sanctuary building was dedicated in 1968. The church's Wesley Foundation was organized in 1921-1922 to serve University of Wyoming students.
