Wesley Foundation (University of Wyoming)

Hide Profile

The Wesley Foundation is a Methodist organization that has been serving the University of Wyoming for more than 70 years. The Foundation was started in Laramie in 1921 by Rev. Walter French and is one of the oldest in the nation. Rev. French wanted to provide students with an intelligent religious atmosphere while attending the University of Wyoming. As the foundation grew both spiritually and more prosperous through s benefactor leaving them royalties in an oil well and gas station lease, the Wesley Foundation has been able to provide students with a range of activities without fundraising.
