Denvil, Alice Matilda, 1839-1908

Alice Matilda Denvil (1839-1908) was an actress and daughter of therter producer Henry Denvil and playwright Mary Ann Denvil. She began her acting career in 1857 at the Princess Thearter, London. She married Thomas Connelly in 1863 and had three children: Thomas (b. 1864), Henry (b. 1865), and Alice (b. 1873). She immigrated to New York City in 1895.
