The author of The Christian and the Holocaust (1970) and Pope Pius XII and the Holocaust (2002), among others, she has lectured widely and served on the boards of the U.S. Bishops' Office of Catholic-Jewish Relations and the International Catholic-Jewish Historical Commission.
