International World Peace Day Committee.
The International World Peace Day Committee was established on the third anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. The Committee promoted the commemoration of the deaths and devastation created by the use of atomic power. World Peace Day was established on August 6, 1948.
