This scrapbook was created by Lawrence Melbern True from Hampton, NH, Class of 1923. He and his wife, Marion D. Williams, were both members of the first class to graduate from the University of New Hampshire. Before 1923 the school was called the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts. His activities included Phi Mu Delta and the Students' Army Training Corps. They moved to Cleveland, OH after graduation, where Lawrence worked as a mechanical engineer. While in Ohio, he became a member of the University Club.
