Michigan Consolidated Gas Company
Variant namesIn 1931 the city of Mount Pleasant (Mich.) signed a gas franchise contract with the Gas Corp. of Michigan, which was eventually succeeded by the MCGC. In 1948, MCGC raised rates for gas. The city of Mount Pleasant protested and sued MCGC in Michigan circuit and supreme courts. Prof. Walter S. Ryder collected the materials.
