George Corradino is a musician who played in several Columbus, Ga. and Auburn, Ala. area big bands in the 1950s and 1960s, such as the Auburn Knights and the Knights of Rhythm. He became the band director at Columbus High School in 1957, later taught at Jordan High School and Hardaway High School. Beginning in 1970 he served as director of music education for the Columbus school system for twenty years.
