Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) Program.
The Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Education Department established the STAR Program to recognize and promote academic achievement and honor the teaching profession. Every school district in Georgia nominates a student and then each student selects his most highly regarded teacher.
