International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. District 4.
The United Machinists and Mechanical Engineers of America was founded in 1888. In 1889, the name was changed to National Association of Machinists. Two years later, it became known as the International Association of Machinists and in 1965, this was changed to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
