Ward, John, 1838-1896
Attorney, New York City; also qualified as a doctor in 1864. Officer in the 12th Regiment, New York State National Guard. Author of The overland route to California, and other poems (New York: K. Tompkins, 1874) as well as other works on American history and the history of the Ward family.
