Jett, Alta M., 1920-
Jett was born in Lancaster, Ky. and moved to Richmond, Ind. as an infant. She attended Earlham College and Indiana University--Purdue University at Indianapolis. She belongs to the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Richmond and is active in church work. Her community activities include the Mary B. Talbert Club, the Townsend Center Board, and vice precinct committee person for the Democratic Party.
