Kaish, Luise

Luise Kaish (1925- ) is an American expressionist sculptor. She is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, Rome Prize Fellowship (American Academy in Rome), Arents Pioneer Medal, and a Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Grant, and has exhibited her work in major art galleries around the country. She is professor emeritus of sculpture at Columbia University.
