Variant namesSouthern Baptist missionary to China, 1893-1924. Graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. Taught at Hwanghsien Boarding School for Boys. Began Baptist work in Manchuria by founding first Baptist church in Dalny, Manchuria.
