Whiting, John, 1656-1722
Variant namesJohn Whiting (1656-1722) was an English Quaker, well known as an author and minister. His parents were John and Mary Evans Whiting; he also had a sister, Mary Whiting (1654-1676). In 1703 he published the first Quaker bibliography.
