New York (State). Governor (1765-1769 : Moore)
Sir Henry Moore became Lt. Governor of Jamaica in 1755, served as acting Governor 1756-1762. He was appointed Governor of New York in 1764 and arrived at the time of the Stamp Act controversy. During his administration he made two trips to the country of the 5 Nations.
