Samuel Buckley Morris (1791-1859), Quaker merchant of Philadelphia, son of Luke Wistar Morris (1768-1830) and Elizabeth Morris Buckley Morris (1771-1797). He was one of the founders of Haverford College and was also interested in Westtown Boarding School. He m. Hannah Perot (1792-1831). Their children included Samuel Morris (1827-1905), Beulah Sansom Morris (1829-1923) and Elliston Perot Morris (1831-1914).
