LeConte, Harriet Evelyn, 1844-1911.
Artist and native of Georgia; known as "Eva LeConte"; daughter of Louis LeConte and niece of South Carolina College professor John LeConte; she studied art in Europe and resided most of her adult life in Washington, D.C., distinguishing herself as a portrait painter as well as for her copies of works by other artists.
