Brewer, George, 1899-1968
Variant namesGeorge Brewer served a two-year term (1915-1916) as the only Socialist member in the Kansas state legislature. From 1918 to 1924 he lectured for the Non-Partisan League in Minnesota and North Dakota. Grace Babbit Brewer was secretary to Eugene V. Debs and managed the Appeal's lecture bureau. She was member of the Women's National Committee of the Socialist Party (1915-1916). She also managed the Nonpartisan League in Minnesota (1918-1920).
