Harold Francis Weaver has had a long and influential involvement in Astronomy within California and elsewhere. During his career he has been productively associated with several leading institutions in scientific research, including the Astronomy Department and Radiation Laboratory of the University of California at Berkeley, and the Lick, Mount Wilson, and Yerkes Observatories. He was the founding director of the Radio Astronomy Laboratory at Berkeley.
