Benkowitz, Isaac,
Captain Isaac Benkowitz was a Russian emigre who held degrees from the University of Chicago and Columbia University. He was a captain in the U.S. Army's Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives Division and was responsible for the Offenbach Archival Depot in 1946.
