Juliet Perry was born ca.1900 to Samuel and Juliet Jolly Perry in Birmingham, Ala. She graduated from Phillips High School in Birmingham, in 1917, and attended Columbia University. During the World War, 1914-1918, she was in the Volunteer Relief Association.

She married Frank M. Dixon 1920 Nov. 3 in Birmingham, Ala. She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, and its successor, the Junior League, as well as the Daughters of the American Revolution, the UDC, and the Baptist Church.

She and her husband had two children: Samuel Perry (1922-1968) and Launa Murray (b.1925).
