Barrett, Gordon S.
Mr. Barrett was a log scaler in Bellingham before he joined the Puget Sound Log Scaling and Grading Bureau in 1921. As manager of the Bureau, he developed standards for log scaling, first on Puget Sound and then regionally, working with the federal government during World War II.
