New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts (Hanover). College Farm.
The New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts was established in 1866 under the Federal Land-Grant Act of 1862. As part of the instruction in agriculture, the college maintained a farm. The College moved to Durham, NH in 1893 and then became the University of New Hampshire in 1923.
