Federal Art Project (Wis.)
Federal work relief program for artists during the depression.
Charlotte R. Partridge was director of the Layton Art Gallery and the director of the Federal Art Project in Wisconsin as well. Margaret D. Clark succeeded Partridge in 1941. Victor Volk supervised the Index of American Design in Wisconsin from 1938 on.
