The Connecticut Branch of the Alumni Association of the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts was formed in November of 1920. The original purpose was "to get the Connecticut men behind the drive for a Memorial Field". The meeting was held at the Bond Armex Hotel with fourteen present "including a few wives and sweethearts". The College was founded in 1866 in Hanover, NH. It moved to Durham, NH in 1893 and became the University of New Hampshire in 1923.
