Dr. William Henderson, a physician in Aberdeen, Scotland, owned the Friendship plantation in Saint Thomas Parish, Jamaica, in the 1840s. The plantation primarily produced sugarcane. D. Siveright worked as its overseer until his death in November 1847. His replacement, R. G. Kirkland, continued to work at Friendship until at least mid-1849.
