Connolly, Lawrence F., 1905-1984
Variant namesLawrence Conolly was a Spokane attorney who, in 1942, purchased the assets of the insolvent Exchange National Bank, which had gone into receivership in January, 1929. The stock market crash and ensuing depression made debt collection extremely difficult. The shareholder’s agent had recovered as many of the assets as possible and it fell to Connolly to attempt to collect the remaining outstanding debts.
